Eric was born August 20, 1985, died June 24, 2007, while serving in Bayji, Iraq. While out on patrol, June 21, 2007, he was hit by small arms fire and received injury to the face and head, Eric lost his battle 3 days later. I would like for all to know how proud I am of my son, he along with so many others gave his life for my freedom. How blessed I was to have him for 21 years. Rest in peace by beloved son.

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Our son was a true hero…a Captain in the US Army who was killed in Iraq while hoping to bring peace to all of the children of the world, especially his own 3 little ones. You sir, are also a hero, for caring so very much about the sacrifices that have been made and the lives that have been lost as our country fights to keep us free. I applaud you for sharing our stories with your children…and with others…in an admirable attempt to truly teach them the true...

Brian is my son. He was killed in Iraq April 9, 2007. He was only 20 yrs old and in Iraq 6 months to the day when a bomb hit his humvee that we was a gunner on. Brian was due to come home for a visit in just 2 weeks. I miss my boy.
I rarely get on the my computer anymore but today I just happen to turn it on and the GSMs sent an email, just yesterday, about your generosity. If you have not reached your 100, I would very much like to have a bracelet, for his dad to wear proudly as he does a lo...

Praise God for this generous act. Praise God we still have people who care and think of the families left behind still hurting for their loss. This is a wonderful and generous thought. Many times I ponder how we mothers, and families, of our fallen heroes are forgotten, how we are not respected, by society, but then I look around and see how our Veterans are treated, so then I ponder again, and think to myself “Who am I?”, if our Veterans are treated with little respect after serving our co...

Dear Chris, Keith Dixon and Employees of HeroBracelets,
I am so touched by your offer to donate a Hero Bracelet to family members of America’s Fallen.
My son, LCpl Jourdan Lin Grez, was killed on May 11, 2005 in Iraq. He left behind his then two-year-old son, Colin. Colin is now 5 1/2 and asking poignant questions about his father…”is my daddy mad at me? Why doesn’t he come to see me?”
I feel Colin is now old enough to understand the sacrifice his father made, and would truly appreciate one o...

My son was SPC Nicholas S. Hartge. He was such a bright light in my life. On May 14, 2007 we received word that Nick was on patrol in Adhamiya – A Sunni District in Baghdad- they encountered much enemy fire and then the humvee he was riding in hit a huge roadside bomb. Nick was killed that day—just turned 20 years old 3 weeks before. His Sgt. in the vehicle died 3 weeks later. The other 3 soldiers were terribley burned and are recovering slowly from the terrible accident—all great heroes! Nic...
