Support the Texas Vietnam War Monument

During the 79th Legislative Session, House concurrent resolution 36 was unanimously passed and signed into law by Governor Rick Perry, May 20, 2005. This resolution allows a monument to be placed on the Texas Capitol grounds in honor of over half a million Texans who fought and served in Vietnam. During the war, 3,415 Texans made the ultimate sacrifice and currently there are over 100 (MIA) Missing in Action”

The monument will reflect the racial diversity of Texas and recognize the diversity of skills the military branches represent.
